Validation Coverage Guard — How to use
Audit required-field and validation-rule coverage without modifying configuration.
Operation
Run the app and review the audit.
Open a board that uses or should use validations.
Add the Validation Coverage Guard board view.
Select Scan validation coverage and review the coverage score and findings.
Select Explain with monday AI for an explanation of governance gaps and review priorities.
Finding reference
Deterministic audit findings.
ORPHANED REQUIRED COLUMN — a required-field reference points to a missing column.
ORPHANED VALIDATION REFERENCE — a validation rule references a missing column.
UNPROTECTED ELIGIBLE COLUMN — an eligible column is not protected by a required-field setting or validation rule.
AI, privacy and support
AI assists explanation; it does not replace the audit.
The deterministic audit remains the source of truth.
AI explanation runs only when requested and uses monday AI through the monday platform.
The AI feature does not silently modify board data.
