Formula Health Guard — How to use
Audit Formula columns for missing references, self-references, cycles and structural risk.
Operation
Run the app and review the audit.
Open a board containing Formula columns.
Add the Formula Health Guard board view.
Select Scan formulas and review high- and medium-severity findings.
Select Explain with monday AI for a concise explanation and suggested investigation order.
Finding reference
Deterministic audit findings.
EMPTY FORMULA — a Formula column has no expression.
MISSING FORMULA REFERENCE — an expression references a missing column.
SELF FORMULA REFERENCE — a Formula column refers to itself.
FORMULA REFERENCE CYCLE — Formula columns form a circular chain.
FORMULA NEAR LENGTH LIMIT — an expression is approaching the monday Formula builder limit.
AI, privacy and support
AI assists explanation; it does not replace the audit.
The deterministic audit remains the source of truth.
AI explanation runs only when requested and uses monday AI through the monday platform.
The AI feature does not silently modify board data.
